This is my take on the Arthurian legend of Excalibur, given to King Arthur by the Lady of the Lake...

What if Excalibur´s magic came from a hidden source of power rooted in Evil? Was the Lady of the Lake a kind benefactress or was she giving power to Arthur because she could reign through his sword?
